(Friday Night)
Well, France lost for 2nd place to Argentina in Rugby tonight (like you care). We actually had a great time at dinner when we finally found a place that sounded somewhat interesting. So since I'm on the topic, we had another great dinner tonight. Paul had the pate for starters; I had a salad of tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. For main dishes Paul had the roast chicken with a red wine reduction sauce with wonderfully tasty pearl onions and potatoes au gratin; I had the beef (with a blue cheese sauce) and pommes frites. Paul's been looking for "freedom fries" and this was the closest to them that he has found.
We made it to Napoleon's tomb today as well as the museum on medieval armor and on WWI and WWII late this morning (after having a leisurely breakfast). We also eventually made it to the Eiffel Tower-I'm including photos and then just walked miles discovering new areas of town. We have had a blast and it is hard to believe that we've only got two more days before having to head back home on Monday morning.
Enjoy,
Jorge
