Today, I'm skipping the blog. Had a nice day. Woke up early, spent abut an hour and a half just having coffee and croisant. I went to the Islamic World museum which had some beautiful swords and daggers...all war stuff (what's up with that?!). The view from the roof deck was particularly beautiful....you'll get to see that tomorrow when I add the photos. I headed back to wait for Paul, whose flight was about 3 hrs late. So he didn't show up until late afternoon. We took a couple of walks aroung the neighborhood. Saw the memorial to the Jews who were deported during the German occupation (again, photos tomorrow). Then we walked to the Louvre and got a suggestion for a restaurant in antoher part of town. We went there and it turned out to be a good suggestion. We had something delicious for starters: Paul had shrimp crisp of some sort and I had something with pork in it and it was scrumptuous. Sometimes you just get adventurous when you can't decipher what you're about to eat. Main course for Paul was Duck and I had veal. Yummy! Oh, and we finished off a bottle of wine while we were at it.
Paul's snoring away now and I'm not far behind. Bon soire to all and to all a good night (morning for all of you!).
