We got up this morning and had breakfast. We didn't sleep too well on the hard floors.

I decided to take a cold shower in the river flowing next to the village. The water was freezing.

After my shower we gathered our stuff and took off on a 9km trek. Today was mostly uphill.

We walked through some rice fields and I took the opportunity to take some panorama shots with my iphone 5.

We met some hunters along the and took pictures with them.

Near the end of today's trek, we ran into some water buffalo chilling in the river.

We walked another 10 minutes and made it to the elephant camp.

The elephants, here, roam free except they are giving rides to the next village. We fed them and took some shots and then had some delicious soup and then hopped on board the elephants for a 45 min ride to the next village.

The elephant ride was amazing and a bit scary at times.

Halfway through the ride, I proposed to Mel who is now my fiancée. ❤

Once arrived at the village, we went for a swim, washed and then relaxed while sipping a cold Singha.

Afterwards we walked to the local school and gave out more toys to the kids.

We had another delicious meal and spent the night playing games and drinking
