Staying at: Candy Cane Inn, Anaheim

A day of fun at Disney.

Have breakfast (not very nice and not enough seats) in the hotel bfore going into Disney and jumping on the train so we can do a complete loop of the park.
Begin to stroll around and david begins to get stressed about the long queues. David this space mountain and buzz lightyear rides whist michelle hangs around waiting for him. We take lots of photos (?)? but David never really recovers from space moutian and spends much of the day feeling dizzy.
Grab our first (and it turns out to be only) corn dog. Interesting to try but we don't imagine many people have more then one of them.
In early afternoon we head for the pirates of the carribean ride (a water ride), not realising that there were a couple of big drops and terrifying George in the process.
David goes on the splash mountain and discovers what he thinks is easily the best (and most surreal) water ride he has ever been on. You just have to do it. Even better than the big water ride at Thorpe park.
We try a winnie the poo ride and sing along to it's a small world. We all enjoy them both (including George)
We watch the parade which David enjoys very much despite (or perhaps because of) not expecting very much. The parade is undoubtedly a key reason why Disney remains such a success and is quite a spectacle.
We head to our room, going via the seven eleven for some snacks as David and Michelle both get grumpy following a long day walking around.
