Greetings all, I have finally made it to Parakou.

After two full days of flying and two days at the guest house in Cotonou I am here in Parakou in a big oasis of Aussieness.

I have already eaten a whole lot of food of a ladies head and bought myself ma premier robe Africaine''.

The taxi trip here from Cotonou was six hours in a car even Andy Cameron would turn his nose up at. It was me and an American missionary, we bought two seats each which meant we got the whole back seat. If you look at the other cabs there are three in the front including the driver, four or five in the back and if it's a stationwagon there are another two or three in with the luggage.

Anyway, it's 11 o'clock and I'm lightheaded from tiredness so that'll have to be enough news for you all for now.
