The Park Vista Hotel was easy to find I took one turn off the main road and followed it till I came to a stop sign. Directly in front of me where two larger posted nestled into the base of the hill. Stetched crossed the road was The Park Vista hotel sign. At first glance hotel sign made me think of an old dude ranch. I continued driving,straight-up, a steep incline that gradully started winding around the hill. Located at the top was The Park Vista. The panoramice views of The Great Smoky Mountains was awesome. Just what I need to see after driving through downtown Gathlinburg, TN and all of its chaos.

As I enter the hotel lobby I noticed an open format with several different areas for guest to set depending on their mood. Tucked slightly off to the side was a computer cafe bar for the guest to use. The design of the lobby made me feel as if I was in a quaint English Inn with the element of privacy. When I looked up to the ceiling I thought I had just been transported to a starship.

Checking in was seamless and quick, the clerk was friendly and made me feel welcomed. I was given there signature homemade chocolate chip cookies. Let me just say, they were delicious. If your on a diet I would not suggest having one, each cookies has 310 calories. But the container is made out of recycling paper and biodegradabe.

My room was on the eleventh floor, I had a little difficult unlocking the door. Happy to say that was, the only issue with the hotel. The room was modern and had all the usual amenities minus a microwave in the room. I had a king sizes bed with a classic european bedding which made for a comfortable night. A privacy balcony with the view of The Great Smoky Mountains and downtown Gathlinburg.

I gave The Park Vista hotel Platinum recommendation. More to come about Gathlinburg, TN.
