Now this place was very different to what I expected. I mainly went to panama, not only cause it was the end of the road in Central America and the Hub to all flights to South America, but also because I really wanted to see the Panama Canal. Don't ask me why, Its just talked about alot and its supposed to be an amazing feat of mans engineering, So I thought id check it out. (In the rain of course) And true to form it was very cool to see a full sized motherfucker of a cruise liner pass though the miraflores locks.

Panama City itself being a tax haven from rich American and I imagine the world over, was a mix of Skyscrapers and Slums... and guess where I was staying!!! (no not in a skyscraper). The rain was fast and furious here except with much more humidity so it wasn't a pleasant climate. After a walk around the old colonial districts there is not alot else to do. I even gave in one night and ate at the hard rock cafe panama!!! really didn't expect to see one of those there!!! So after a few days I booked a flight leaving the next morning to the sunny climate and the famous beaches of Rio... Brazil baby here I come!
