Hey guys, its been a while since the last update, but its been lots of fun. The school organised a trip to the famous Lago Atitlan and we had a good time swimming and spent the night. The next day I took a boat across to Santiago, which was really really beautiful. I was fortunate to witness Machimo, a Mayan ceremony where they make offers to the god Machimo in the form of beer, cigaretts, or money...
I also got married in a town called San Antonio, to a really nice Swiss girl. See photos. My homestay is really great. Theres a total of 5 students living there, so dinner is always a hoot. I think I'll stay with them up to this Sunday and then head for El Salvador.
