We'll rest up, do a bit of laundry and enjoy the gorgeous Pembrokeshire countryside....maybe take in a film.
Generally we intend to avoid marinas, prefering to anchor for free. This one will cost us £28 per night.
We took a bus from Milford Haven town to the headland at Martins Haven for a bracing walk.
I measured average wind speeds of 33 mph on the headland - it's a good job we weren't out there. I spotted 3 large ships sheltering in St Brides Bay, where the sea state wasn't too bad.
It's pissing down with rain AND blowin' a hoolie. We won't be going far to day, except to the pictures this evening. I'm glad I brought 11 books with me (and a Ukulele.)
A window of oportunity has opened. We're off, but not before I remind you that Milford Haven hosts a number of oil terminals, and has some major shipping. As we left we saw a tanker coming in with 2 tugs. One tug was tied to the stern of the tanker to help with steering and the other was forward and literally pushed the tanker round the corner.
