Having arrived in the morning following another overnighter we went to see the famous falls from the Brazillian side. The difference between this side of the falls and the Argentian side are the views.

From Brazil we saw the falls from a distance seeing the horseshoe shape.

Iguacu - means "big waters" in Tupi/Guarani language, There are 275 falls in total forming one gigantic fall when water level is high.

Seeing these falls makes it three famous waterfalls in one year! I shall have to see the highest (Angel Falls in Venezuela) another time.

The falls were beautiful...but as we got closer to one fall the spray had a bit of a drenching effect as you can see. Fortunately it was quite warm so we soon dried off.

In the evening we said our goodbyes to Elio who left the next morning. At the same time Nina and Herdy were setting off in another direction to us.

I still cannot get over how few backpackers I see over here. We really stick out everywhere we go!
