Hi guys, after Berlin i took a train through Austria to slovenia, but i will write about Slovenia later because i will be going there again in a few weeks. From slovenia i took a train to Vienna, then changed to a night train to frankfurt, then another train to belguim & stayed 3nights in brugge. It is a beautiful little city surrounded by canals & windmills. I was very tierd from my 25hour train journey & it was raining so when i arrive3d at the hostel at 2.30pm i tried to take a little nap. By 4.30pm i was still awake so went for a walk around the outskirts of brugge seein the old towers that used to protect the city, there used to be 8 of them but now there are only 4. I was out walking for about 4hours so when i finally got back to hostels i went straingt to sleep. I woke up the next day & went exploring through the lovely cobbled streets of brugge, seeing lots of choclate shops & beer shops. They make over 2046 brands of beer here! Back in the old days the water wasn't clean enough to drink so they used the bacteria from the water to make good beer & everyone was told to drink at least 2 beers a day instead of the water! There are lots of beautiful churches & cathedrals. In the evening i took a night tour which told us about the history of Brugge & showed us some more nice parts of Brugge. The next day was muggy so i hadf a lie in & finally the sun came out at 1.00pm & i hired a bike & cycled 28km to see the beautiful coastline! It was well worth it just sadly not hot enough for my bikini.
