Hi guys, well i flew from Malaga to Copenhagen on the 14th August and it was dry & sunny but only 20degrees! I stayed in a hostel which was the only one available and close to the airport where you could get a bus or a train into the city.
I explored the city for 2 days once on foot & once on a bike, which is the done thing here! You can rent bikes for free from the city centre.
Copenhagen is really expensive! I felt like a cider after 6hours of touring the city & it set me back 8nz....so i only had the 1. I loved Stroget street which is a huge pedestrian street full of shops, bars, cafe's & street performers. There was one guy from New Zealand, Wellington who claimed to be the only sword swollower in New Zealand??? Who knows? Well he was very impressive, got some great photo's but sadly not found an internet place to download any yet
I took a 2hour walk through an old castle, with huge park & lakes, king's gardens, saw the Citadel Gefion fountain and the famous little Mermaid which was a dissapointment.
I also walked from my hostel to a beautiful man made lagoon, but it was not hot enough to go for a dip. I really enjoyed Copenhagen city but it's far to expensive here!
Well, bye for now, next stop Sweden.
