Hi guys, well i loved Panama & the weather was also good, nice sunny days with just a little rain in the evenings. I spent 4 days in Panama city staying in the old part which has a huge pedestrian street called Avenue Central for great bargins where you shop till you drop! I took a hike up Ancon hill to see the great views of Panama. I also took the train to Colon to do some duty free shopping. The train is very expensive but takes you along the locks then through jungle & rainforests.

I took a jeep tour& boat to the San Blas Islands which consists of 365 Islands & 60 of them are inhabited. I spent 2 nights on Kuna Yala Island where all those lovely ladies where bands & braclets up their arms & legs. They also have to cut their hair when they hit puberty & at 18 they get a gold ring put through their nose between both nostrils!

The weather was fantastic & each day we were taken by boat the a Tropical Island Paradise with just a handful of people to share the Island with. We also saw dolphins on the second day where we went to a very small secluded Island. The crew supplied us with 3 meals a day so all i had to do was chill out & soak up the sinshine! The water was warm & crystal clear blue with lots of coral & colourful fish.

From San Blas i took a night bus to Almirante & a boat to Bocas Del Toro & spent 2 nights on these Islands but sadly the weather was not so good...But did go to Starfish beach & took a look around the small town. This place is very popular with surfers & divers. Well bye for now Jo.xx
