The hotel was beautiful above the city and we have enjoyed a nice beer on the terrasse and then a opulent meal inside the restaurant.

The next day was the hard day to drıve long hours to Greece and then Turkey. We have only arrıved at 22:30 in Istanbul. The traffic in Istanbul is challenging as all Turkısh drivers only know one way --> agressively forward as fast and as forceful as possible.

You have to adapt to this style otherwise one is lost.As careful defensive motorbike riders this was a challenge.

We have arrived at the hotel and have had the parking just in front of the lobby and the terrasse bar. We decided to bring the bikes to the Harley Davidson dealer the next day and leave them there for a last service Waiting for the ferry to Bulgaria

.

We have then explored the rest of the time all of the beauties around the hotel

Hayan Sophia --> Museum,was a church, then a mosque
Blue Mosque --> Impressive with 6 minarettes one of the bıggest in the world
Top Kapı Palace --> A place that would take already 3 days alone full of history (watch movies, Serail, etc.)
The Grand Basar --> A real challenge for all who only want to see and not to shop. Hard selling is the key attribute of the succesful salesmen
The Spıce Basar --> Another symphony of colors, smells and rich places one should not miss

I have been to Istanbul very often more than 20 years ago and I have to say that this town has improvements everywhere. A really worthwhile city to spend more days. Enjoy the metro and trams as means of transportation
