You almost forget that you spent the last two days pretty much awake.
I didn't really think about that before I jumped on the boat. You can't sleep at night, somebody always has to be awake since you are constantly sailing and you can't through an anchor in the middle of an ocean; it's too deep. Therefore we had alternating shifts of 2 hours, so 2 hours off, 2 hours on. It takes a while to get used to that rhythm. Well you don't get used to it within 2 days. So yep I was tired.
Once awake again I chased a seagal with my camera, that's what came out of it:
That fish must have been a bit mental. It shot onto the beach out of the water right next to Anthony's feet. He tried to grab it but somehow it got free and back into the ocean. Well there went dinner. But as I said the fish was mental so it made a big circle and shot straight back onto the beach. Well predator Anthony didn't make the mistake twice and this time we took him home.
The way back was awful though, we took a "shortcut" and if I wouldn't have jumped like a kangaroo I would have had my legs cut to bits. Now they were just scratched and hurt in salt water. At least they weren't bleeding too bad to attract sharks. Still, not pleasant.
Dinner made it all worth it though. I never ever ate a better fish than the mental one. I think it was a Spanish Mackerel, god that was delicious! Too bad we never caught one again.
After all that seasickness I was kinda hoping Anthony's friend, with another yacht would come here too. I could have swapped boats, head back to Freo for a while and fly home in the end...but nope no further escape possible since he never showed up. That meant ocean, pure ocean for days...
