Where I stayed
my car Harlequin
While I was translating we got talking about Hamish and Andy and the sheering day and all that. Actually I was wondering what Marcus would be doing now, since the journey of the caravan of courage is over. Hm I guess I kinda missed it to exchange contact information. So maybe no faith after all..
One of the blokes on the other computer caught all that and apparently was a huge fan of Hamish and Andy. So he came over to the car later on and offered me a beer at his place. Since Streaky had been such a good experience, which started by saying yes to a beer, I said yes again, even though I still don't like the taste of beer. It turned out that he was working on the hay stacks with a bunch of other guys and we all ended up playing cards till late. The night ended with my version of categories, it's simply the best game ever, and only two guys, Luke and Josh. The rest got tired. ;)
In the middle of the night we snug out and climbed one of the grain stacks, pretty big and pretty impressive the whole show. Now I can cross that out of the list of things I've never done and hey I recommend it to everybody, it's pretty funky up there. You feel free somehow...
Since that was such a nice night I stayed another couple of days and Josh taught me a couple of guitar secrets! Only their age stayed a secret to the very last minute. I guessed at the beginning and boa I was way off. It's funny once you sympathies with somebody you automatically assume a similar age. Just that in that case sweet little 17 was not quite in my imagination, especially not after those kinds of secrets. Maybe generations do start earlier all the time.. anyway. I better stop guessing, that was embarrassing.
So off I went to Perth to pick up Bengy whom I haven't seen for almost a year now...
