Saigon, Vietnam

We arrived at 6 a.m. still with a drunken Tommy boy, who excused himself by inviting us to breakfast. Which was nice.
Actually this city looks like Hanoi, but the people don't bother you as much, infact they are beeing really nice lately. It's really cool, I'm sitting next to Angie, both of us blogging about the same thing. "Same Same But Different" (Insidejoke-don't worry about it) We didn't do a lot in Saigon, except seeing a giant turtle that looked like a pig. Kinda scary imagining Turtlenessie living in the middle of this huge city in a lake. They say there are still some of these creatures down there, but I guess that's just to make the tourists come and visit.
At one moment in the park I heard a radio playing snow patrol. I was thrown back in emotions which were too much for me. The power of music is scary. My thoughts were wright back to the moment I left Tamm, back to Borstel, back to were I heard this song the last time. It made me sad and it made me wondering why am I here. Is that really what I wanted? More thumbnails ...
Where I stayed:
