You know what, I was living the other day of 2,50 Yuan, which is about 2,5 Cent, unvorstellbar in Deutschland. For that money I got a whole meal which lasted even for 2 days. Okay I don't eat a lot, but this is just amazing. Food is so cheap over here and it tasted good too.
Von mir aus, schimpft ruhig ueber Sozialismus, aber so ueberlebt echt fast jeder. Komisch nur, dass hier trotzdem alle so duenn sind. Hab uebrigens langsam Lieblingsgerichte, da waere an erster Stelle Happy Guy's fritiertes pork sweet & sour, an zweiter Stelle chopped potatoes gebraten, dann fritierte Lotuswurzeln, oder auch tomatoes and egg out of a iron bowl with crispy rice underneath und natuerlich nicht zu vergessen die coole Pumello und ihre kleinen Geschwister, the mini mandarins.
You know somethin else, it doesn't quite fit the subject, but you should be thankful. For what? Well for each warm shower you can get. Hot water is a gift, we should care more about it. Since I don't have hot water all the time, I really apprechiate not freezing my body to ice form time to time.
Ach ja und Waschmaschinen sind auch ziemlich geil, oder Zentralheizung. Hey Medikamente nicht zu vergessen. I got such a sore throwth and then Brian was telling me this story, that he had this huge fever and all the doctor said to him was practically 'drink hot water, open the window and wear more clothes.' Duh! Wat ne Hilfe! Kopfschmerzen hab ich auch schon den ganzen Tag, man alles aber bitte nicht krank werden..
At least I found that place where you can get a hot milk drink, so that actually helped a lot. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Feuerwerk! Well thanks for waking me up guys, I might have slept in and recover my cold otherwise. Schon komisch da is irgendwo 'n event, da wird eine Ladung an Munition in die Luft geschossen, dabei sieht man gar nix, es is ja hell.

One of my teacherstudents, I named her Inge(just for you grany ;o) asked me to play badminton, so I took Brian with me, since he is pretty good and I'm still missing my energy because of that cold. And gosh they really knew how to play. She brought her little daughter with her, about 6 years maybe and she is simply one of the cutest kids I've ever seen. She made me do a spinning wheel and walking on my hands backwards, like in a bridge. It was so funny and somehow we could kommunicate with each other. Her name is Lilli, at least that's what I understood. I guess that's what I'm gonna call my kid, if I'll ever come to that point in my life.
Besides that, playing Badminton was really exhausting so I lost my voice and started sneezing. So maybe it was not the best idea..

Okay my voice is gone completly now. I really do sound funny, just like an old country singer who smoked herself to death. I can still whisper though. So I was whispering to Angelyn quite a while today and guess what, she knows Kartoffelpuffer, isn't that cool! And I think she knows Kloese too!! And then she pulled something out of her desk, I couldn't believe it, it was Nutella! She even made some chocolate pudding, that felt so good in my throwt.
It's interessting talking to these guys, they are so open minded. I've never seen Americans being that way. Well I guess if you travel a lot that changes you and your attitude towards things. It makes you open up.
Tolleranz is eine der Tugendenden die echt zu kurz kommen. Auszerdem ham wir festgestellt, dass wir beide zu denen gehoeren die zum Beispiel gerne in der Mensa gegessen haben. Ich hab noch genau im Ohr wie sich staendig Leute uebers Essen beklagen. Das is einfach sowas von arrogant, das Essen in der Mensa is absolut genieszbar, es macht dich satt, es ist genug und es ist so guenstig wie du nirgendwo sonst essen kannst. In Deutschland suchen die Leute foermlich etwas ueber dass man sich beklagen kann. Ich hab hier noch nicht eine Menschenseele sich ueber irgendwas beklagen hoeren, obwohl die meisten hier wirklich 'n Grund haetten.
Klagen is so typisch deutsch, planen uebrigens auch. Ich wurde jetzt schon mehrfach gefragt wie ich denn den Verlauf meiner Reise so plane und was so die Stationen sein werden die ich mir anschaue. Wisst ihr was, ich plane nicht. Mich nervt die Planerei. Ich will mit Absicht keine Reise machen, bei der ich sage ja heute die Sehenswuerdigkeit, morgen der Turm und dann noch das Haus. Und wenn ich nichts von alledem seh' waer das auch nicht schlimm, dann seh ich eben was anderes, irgendwas werd' ich schon erleben. Mein einziger Zeitplan den ich habe sind die Auslaufdaten meiner Visafristen. The rest comes naturally. I want to get to know the people, not the bricks that won't talk to me.
Naja, Themenwechsel. Ich wusste nicht dass Playboy eine tatsaechliche Marke ist. Hier gibt's jedenfalls alles von playboy, Hosen, Jacken, Socken. Tja und ich hab jetzt n paar neue Turnschuhe, sie ham nur 12,50 Euro gekostet. Da kann man doch nicht nein sagen... Allerdings hab ich jetzt vier Paar Schuhe, das ist way too much. Muss dringend ein oder zwei Paar nach Hause schicken, ich kann das unmoeglich alles tragen. Die Geschichte mit meiner Gitarre wird eh noch lustig..
Ich hab uebrigens mal das Bier hier probiert. The beer was a joke. Es hat wie Limonade geschmeckt, im Prinzip wie gepanschtes Radler. Ich geb ihm nicht mal 2%. Schon lustig.
Auszerdem war ich mongolisch essen, gut dass ich nicht wirklich 'n Vegetarier bin. Auszer Fleisch gab's naemlich nur n bisschen Reis und Kartoffeln. Tja ich glaub ich hab jetzt zum ersten Mal bewusst Lamm gegessen. Auszerdem bat man mir Cola zu trinken an, das war soweit okay, doch dann kam er mit einem Mischgetraenk wieder dass aus Cola und Kaffee bestand. Es schmeckte unheimlich bitter, vielleicht ist es ja gut um morgens munter zu werden, ich hab's jetzt in meinen Schrank gestellt aber mehr als Aufwachmedizin.
