Daisy does Monaco!

Monaco, playground to the super-rich and famous, and for one day only, the not so rich and not at all famous - us! We knew we were entering a different world as we drove into Monaco and almost every car we passed was either a Porsche or Mercedes - even Ferraris are dead common here! But we were unique - we didn't see one other VW Type 25! We soon realised how posh it was when we tried to park - there's more than 3,000 car parking spaces in Monaco, but only a tiny car park where campervans are allowed which is underground so they can't lower the tone of the place! Despite being so posh though it has a lovely relaxed and welcoming feel and it's a fantastic place to wander round. We saw the changing of the guard at the Palace (good, but not as good as London!) and wandered around just smelling the money. The yachts in the marina were amazing - the majority of them were from London, which goes to show where all the money is! Now that Rob's a bit old and past it, (that's what she thinks!!!-Rob) Alfie was left to entertain the young ladies - he had all the young Italian girls fussing round him! Daisy handled perfectly round the Grand Prix circuit and she gave the Ferraris a good run for their money! We had a police escort out of Monaco - not sure if they thought they might get us for speeding or whether they were making sure we didn't set up camp!
