Our first move of the day was to buy food; we had been running dangerously low for a couple of days and were desperately craving some fruits and vegetables. Against both our wishes we got some essentials at Walmart and then Sigrid drove to the produce stand she remembered from her prior visit and we got some fruits and veggies, including some corn to boil that night for dinner. Sigrid proceeded to show Madeline her old work site, to which unfortunately nothing much had happened with since she had been there. We checked out the old town and it was already super hot outside; it reminded Sigrid how she had worked outside in this weather in long pants and a long sleeved t-shirt. The town was cute; the shops owned by the Nation Parks Service contained historical exhibits and the privately owned shops sold ice cream and interesting merchandise and some people wandering the streets were in period costumes. Sigrid tried to look up her boss from two years ago, but it was his day off and he wasn't home. We were now ready to start our journey back West; homeward bound!
