So now we are on route for at least the first part of our travels, will certainly need to get used to the budget way of doing things and what better country to start in than Thailand.
A very quick tour of Bangkok since we're saving it for the end, Dom was excited to see the gogo girls but Simon had to refuse all advances.  Just have to wait and see if we make it to the temples in a few weeks.

sweating out your pores in singapore
So...you are there and your new life has started. Singapore looks impressive. Nice to see the two of you in t-shirts and what was that??...you had to escape the heat and hide in the mall? Can't remember the last time i said that. How is that Asian cuisine and beer tasting? The temps are near zero here but the sun was out today so it seemed warmer. My visa is renewed for another year so we celebrated at your fav mex resto, la perla!

Happy travelling,
Damon

Good luck!
Hello Dom & Simon,

Thanks for the last snail mail from Paris - I guess this was one of the last letters in the 'old' way from you two for awhile!

It's great to find time (hm, and money) to decide for such long traveling! I wish you good luck!

P.s.1 I am glad that you started the blog and even find time to use it! Please, keep doing so - also when the traveling will become a bit tiring.

Kind regards,
Renata

P.s.2 I envy you warm weather. We are freezing out her.

sea sun and rice
Hi travellers,

This is paradise on earth : sea, sun and rice. It's nice to see everything is going well for both of you. Just keep sending photos of giant durians... do not bring back one of those if you want to stay on the plane :-)

Simon, I had some news from Colin... he was asking after you :-) He did not know you decided to become a backpacker.

Take care.
Vina.
