Old Friends in Singapore

If anybody has ever smelt durian, then the site of this massive one could be off putting
, however fear not it's only a concert hall and shopping centre where we spent some time recovering from the exterior heat. It seems like every country has to have its own fangled building for music concerts (Australia opera house, Scotlands Armadillo...). Our welcome was perhaps no more than expected amongst good friends, they soon had us back in old habits drinking beers and visiting pubs. Singapore has more complicated car entry rules than expected, so we took the buses and metro which worked out so well we left with credit on the ez-pass. I'm sure we'll pass through again though since we were so well welcomed.

Dear Dominique and Simon,
It is very good to hear from you and to be sure now that you arrived safe and that you are already enjoying your travel. By the way, please do not pay to much attention to my English! (thanks in advance!).
I understand that it is sunny and warm, how lucky you are as here it is grey and cold ...
Hope to have some further news and nice photos
