The Beach of Rainbows

On arrival in Rainbow Beach it was clear we would have been better off doing our Fraser Island trip from here, and having spent our spare time between bus pick-ups here, as there appeared to be much more to do, much more natural scenery, and a far better atmosphere. Our hostel, Pippies on Rainbow was really chilled, and one of the most friendly places we'd stayed. They let us borrow a film when we arrived but unfortunately it was naff so we just went to bed. A lot of people sat out at night in the gardeny area, playing cards or just chatting... it looked like a place you could spend alot of time, but of course, we were excited about heading down the coast and moving on to Noosa the next day.
We absolutely rinsed the free breakfast for weetbix and PB on toast and then rushed off to get the bus out of town at 8am... keep on movin'...
