Back on the Malaysian Mainland

Back in Mersing, and a little more awake this time, if only slightly so. But extremely sunburnt and so cowering in the shade at every possible opportunity. We arrived hopeful that we could just rock up and book a bus ticket to Singapore, and not miss our flight, although that hope began to fade when people in front of us in the queue were being turned away. Not to worry though, we booked on a ridiculously cheap bus to Johor Bahru, the Malaysian city linked to Singapore, and were told to get a connection from there for about 10p or something fabulous. Yeehawww, bring on the next country!
