Transit Through Chumphon

So about 2 pounds bought us a lovely bumpy overnight coach ride to Chumphon from Bangkok, in which I attempted to sleep, but we kept stopping at random locations for the driver to get off and have a fag or something, so I kept waking up thinking we were there. Obviously not.
We did eventually arrive at the hideous hour of something past 5. The ferry was at 7.30 am, so there was time to kill by staring out into space wishing you had a bed to sleep in. It was a tad rainy and cloudy as you can see from the pics, but apparently the glorious colours of the plethora of fishing boats makes up for that... erm, according to the guidebook.
 
Admittedly, at stupid o'clock in the morning, I wasn't such a fan... The impending sea sickness didn't help matters either. Funny that!
