Leaving on a jet plane

It's Thursday 5 July....the day that we have been waiting for....departure day! Even though we have been waiting for this day for a significantly long time, neither of us have slept and we are now wondering what we are going to do until 7pm tonight to keep the nerves at bay. Si has suggested cleaning......I have suggested going to the movies ;-)

We have now said all of our goodbyes, it's hard to say goodbye for a long time and most goodbyes felt as though they were 'seeya next week for our usual Monday night dinner at the Viet Hua'. But this Monday will be dinner in Thialand....the real deal....sorry you cant join us Jacko!

Thanks to everyone that came to the Paddo (check out the photos)......our schedule over in Ireland now seems pretty full with everyone coming to visit....I think we have convinced quite a crew that Christmas in Poland is the way to go!

Tonight is the hard part....final goodbyes to our families, including 7 little neices and nephews that will grow up faster than we can keep up.

Tomorrow is the easy part.....soaking in the humidity in Phuket on a beach with a good book and great company (my husband!). Ahhh bliss......or should I say Biss ;-)
