Two day stop-over in the Hungarian capital - beautiful architecture, wine and food, but the weather has been awful! Rain like you wouldn't believe! Still its meant we've sampled a lot of the cafe culture as well as the odd historic monument.
St.Stephen's Basilica
We'll definitely have to come back though as Jim's soggy sling is not how I want to remember this superb city!
Bathing Budapest style
Sian was in heaven at the turkish baths (whereas Jim was a bit scared by them!). The several hours spent there were a well earnt rest after spending much of the day in the National Museum learning about Hungary's history in depth from first settler to today...
