The next few days seem to be all about finding the strong current aka tons of fish. First attempt was aborted leaving us to dive Crystal Boomie which in the end was a huge success. We zigzagged the reef for the full hour, seeing giant Travellys circling the school of Blue Streak Fusiliers. At the end we spotted a White Tip Shark and resurfaced in just under an hour.

Forty minutes later we were diving The Cauldron aka Shotgun. This dive is on a reef like a little mountain which the peak sticks out of the water. We circled around it until we reached the shaft where the current pulls east and can carry you over the top. To avoid drifting with it, we were required to hold on to the rock for quite some time. The point of this exercise is to usually see a ton of great large fish which the other group did see, i.e. manta, turtles and sharks. All I got in the end was a blue finger from touching some blue sponge.

But nothing compared to the third dive of the day at Castle Rock. We got down to 33m after a 5.5hr surface rest. This dive was when I realized I wasn't so scared of the sharks anymore. We saw four White Tip Reef Sharks just cruising around, resting on the bottom at times, circling some more. On the same dive we saw five Spotted Eagle Rays, a big school of Slender Unicorn Fish, a juvenile Blue Spotted Sting Ray and a small Giant Moray. I also hung out trying to make out a bunch of long white pine needle antennae come from under a coral which I think were a group of Lobsters.
