Today I really slept in until 10:30AM, it felt great. The hotel was already booked for tonight so I knew I had to make other arrangements. Luckily I met an Aussie, Jonathan who was staying at the same hotel who offered for me to share his room (two beds) for the night. It saved us each only 50,000 IDR but it was certainly convenient for me to not have to waste time searching for another spot. I was only staying one more night anyway since I booked my flight to Bali for tonight.

Today was a great day. I was already registered for a private cooking class at Via Via at 4:00PM since the other evening one was already full. It worked out in my favor, I got to pick exactly what I wanted to make and had Mana, the instructor who has been working here for 16 years, give me her undivided attention. I had selected the following dishes: Sate Ayam (chicken Sate with peanut sauce), Terong Balado (eggplant with chili sauce), coconut rice, fried tempe and tofu as well as the fried fish crackers and chili dipping sauce.  We slipped on our aprons and I used some muscles to grind all of the fresh ingredients. We finished right on schedule, at about 5:15PM, in time for me to take the 5:30PM yoga class. Mana kindly packed everything including the prepped chicken not yet cooked, so that I could heat and eat after the class.

The stretching and few poses were a nice re-introduction for my muscles to stretch. Especially after the hike, already my quads were tender to the touch so nothing too strenuous was fine by me. Of course normally I would think anything less than power yoga isn't worth my time but boy how my body has changed.

I rolled out of yoga and right into Via Via café. The restaurant was already starting to fill up, as always. I joined one of the girls from the class and her boyfriend (both from Holland). I shared a bit of my gourmet meal as we chatted about Nepal and traveling. I basically remained on the rooftop café even through the live band, until closing time.
