In order to avoid the rain, we took an underground S-Bahn from Potsdamer Platz to Unter den Linden. By the time we emerged onto the historic grand avenue, the rain had mostly let up, and we had a pleasant walk back to the hotel, stopping at Berlin Story, which has a great stock of Berlin-related books and souvenirs.
