So today on my 6 hour drive from Diamond bar to S. San Fran I decided I wanted to start a travelpod. Mainly because of the sweet map feature.

This being my first excursion on this tour I figured it'd be a good time to start. So tonight I checked into my first hotel, CitiGarden, which happens to be next the the airport. So aside from planes flying over about every 5 minutes, and it being no where as nice as the pictures made it seem, its still a pretty decent hotel. I'm pleased, it doesnt take much for that though.

I am excited to sleep in a bit tomorrow because I don't have to leave til 10:45 for my school! It's exciting and nerve wracking touring solo because I never know for real if the school will provide the help I need or if my set up is going to be incredibly difficult or what.

Another thing about touring solo is me being super paranoid. Okay so sometimes hotels can be sketchy anyway, but being a girl and alone can be scary! But I know God's got my back!

Speaking of, I was stoked to go to CCV this morning, and Pastor Jeff was dead on, like always, with his sermon.

I'll leave you with this thought.

"If God says you are holy, you are holy. Don’t live your life like God is a liar."-my dear friend Mattie Montgomery

Welcom to SSF. I live here with my family and work at Genentech. If you want ideas for eating out, let me know or you can use

There are some great taquerias, delies, and even a few "nicer" restaurants. You can also walk the bay trail around Genentech. Pretty safe area around Genentech.

Typical safety stuff, don't go down unlit alleys and stay on main streets and you'll be fine.
