Ooooo I had so much fun this week! I headed to France with my mate Aimee, her boyfriend Steve and there mates, Scotty, Meg, Chev and Cliff. We flew in to Chambray Airport in France and caught a transfer bus to It was so great to get back out on the snow for the week after four odd years although we didn't just fill our days with just snowboarding as we were located above the tree line and often hovering in the snow clouds so we couldn't always get good visibility to see where we were going! Luckily there was heaps of off piste activities that we took part in i.e ten pin bowling, air hockey, pool, lots of bars and my favourite - the 6 km toboggan track that took us from the top of the mountain near the glacier all the way back to the bottom of the village through a dedicated toboggan track. It took over an hour to complete it! The girls also went to the pool and to beauty spa treatments for some TLC.
And lets not forget about the food! We had cheese fondue, chocolate profiteroles, chocolate waffles in amongst many other delicious French foods. All in all a good week that we all came out unscathed from and I want to back already! More thumbnails ...
