It's good to be back home

Our year away has been the experience of a lifetime and one we will certainly never forget. To all of you who kept in touch over the year via email, letters and the occasional phone call, it was much appreciated and made us feel like we weren't missing out on too much back home. We met some very interesting people, made heaps of friends, saw lots of amazing things and had many wonderful experiences, and if we ever win the lottery we'll do it all again!
So now it's the end for the travelpod. We hope to put some more travel adventures on here in the future, but for now, we hope you have enjoyed reading it, and that it's been helpful to those of you travelling at the moment!
We've been back a couple of weeks now and it's good to be home and sleep in your own bed, and eat homemade cooking. We really haven't had much time to wish we were still travelling as we've been so busy. After Jill and Paul's wedding weekend, we had a week in Wolverhampton with my uncle and cousins visiting. Then we headed to V2005 festival for the weekend, and then it was up to Sunderland to visit Graham's family. As I write this, we are recovering from the first of our engagement parties last night. A very big thank you to everyone who turned up, it was great to see you all. Thanks for all the cards and presents (especially the stowaway spider!). A huge mention must go to my future sister-in-law Donna for organising the whole thing. The decorations were lovely even if I have now got heart shaped confetti in my phone!
