On Tuesday, our first stop of the day was at Caesar's Palace to have a meal at The Cheesecake Factory. Despite its name, it doesn't just serve cheesecake, but its food had been highly recommended by Aloke's girlfriend Louise. The portions were huge and although we couldn't finish them, the food was really nice.

After the meal, we took a slow walk down the rest of the strip to Fremont Street. When I say slow, I mean it took us about 6hrs to do the walk, due to the heat. We had to keep popping into casinos to take advantage of the air con.

The Fremont St Experience is a light show about Vegas, that lasts about 20mins, and they have them regularly throughout the evening. After the show ended, we caught the bus back up to the Strip and went to New York New York. We rode the rollercoaster, that goes around the casino, but to be honest it was too bumpy and gave us both headaches! We were then going to go to Coyote Ugly bar but by that time it had a cover charge so we went to MGM Grand instead.

We tried to have a drink in their bar, Centrifuge but couldn't find a seat so walked to Tropicana and signed up to their points club. This gave us discount drinks vouchers so we went to Celebration Lounge and sat at the bar, had a couple of cocktails and listened to the band that was playing.

Our last day in Vegas we took advantage of the vouchers we had been given at Luxor. First we ate lunch at the Pharoah's Buffet, as it was 2 for 1. The food was really tasty and they do a good cherry pie.

Then we used our free day passes for the spa. The spa was heaven. There was a spa, steam room, sauna, scented showers and relaxation areas. There were also treatments that you could buy which we didn't do this time, but definitely going back someday. My face has never felt so soft.

In the evening we went back to MGM's to see the lions. Then we went to Paris and Venetian casinos and walked along the Grand Canal. We played roulette at Barbary Coast and I won back all the money I had spent so far in Vegas, as my lucky number 12 came up on the roulette wheel.

Next stop was the Stratosphere Tower. At the top of the tower is an observation deck but there are also 4 thrill rides. I think the X Scream is the scariest of the lot, but the only one I would dare go on would be the roller coaster!

From the tower you can see all of the Strip, as well as downtown Vegas, where Fremont St is.

On the way back we went to Westward Ho and had a 2.5ft long hotdog. I can safely say this was the worst hotdog I have ever tasted, but for $1.50 I shouldn't have expected too much. Washed it down with a Pina Colada slushie whilst sitting at the poker machine.

Headed back to the room at midnight to pack all our stuff and get a bit of shuteye.
