Christmas in Sydney

Christmas Eve we went out with a few friends for a meal at the Sydney Tower again, but this time it was the A La Carte restaurant not the buffet. The food was delicious and the cocktails were pretty funky too. As ever, the views were good and we watched the sunset from the restaurant. We had a window table to get perfect views from. We then went to a cheap bar for a few more drinks before stumbling home at 2am.
Christmas day - the weather was rubbish but we decided to go to the beach anyway. It was too cold to sunbathe so we walked from Coogee beach to Bondi Beach - a 6km walk. We thought this was a bit too energetic for Xmas day so after that we came home and had a party with all our housemates and other travellers that live in the same street. Our walk had obviously tired us out as we both crashed out at 10pm.
Boxing day was a bit of a disaster as we tried to go and watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. Us being disorganised, we just assumed it would start at the harbour, but unfortunately for us it actually started a couple of kms further out towards the sea at a place called Shark Island. We did try to walk there but it was further than we thought and we gave up halfway as the race had started by then. So we came home and watched it on the television which is probably what we should have done to start with as we were both hungover! More thumbnails ...
