The end of the Asia Adventure

The whole place seems very clean - Singapore doesn't sell chewing gum, and you are not allowed to eat or drink whilst walking down the street. A rule that we kept forgetting about!
There isn't that much to do in Singapore so you probably wouldn't need to stay longer than 4/5 days.
We went to Sentosa Island, via cable car. It seems to be just like a big holiday resort
After that we went to Singapore Zoo, and the Night Safari. I recommend both of these. The zoo, simply because it doesn't seem like a zoo. The barriers to the animals are cleverly disguised so it feels like the animals are very close to you.
The Night Safari is basically a tram ride through a different part of the zoo, when it is pitch black, as quite a lot of animals are nocturnal. It is good to see the animals in the dark, as they are a lot more active than during the day.
Other than that, there is the famous Raffles Hotel to look at, and Orchard road, where all the posh shops are.
Down by the Clarke Quay area there are a few bars. One which does the Dentist's chair - they tip tequila and lime down your throat until you say stop! (Didn't fancy that one!)
Also, there is the Slingshot, which is basically a bungee catapult. Couldn't persuade Graham to go on but I did with 2 other guys from the group. Will hopefully upload some pictures from it soon! Definitely recommend that, but only on an empty stomach!
