We didn't get too much sleep as we had to be up early the next day to get back to Coalway Road to set up for the open house. We had decided to make this more of an 'Indian day' where we wore traditional Indian clothes, had some Indian food and did a traditional garland exchange. There were quite a few people that came round on the Sunday to see us, and it was nice to have more time to speak to friends and family. In the afternoon, after most people had left, we spent time opening all our cards and presents. It was like Christmas and birthdays rolled into one, although we still don't know who gave us a little photo frame, as some of the cards became detached from their presents.
We left Coalway Road at 5pm, with a lift from Pun to the train station. At this point I should mention that the honeymoon was organised by Graham, and I had no idea where we were going. We caught the train to London, and decided to sit in first class, as upgrading only cost £10 each on a weekend

A windy day
. I still had no idea whether we were flying on the Sunday night or Monday morning. We got into London on time, and caught the tube. As we were catching the tube, I assumed we were going to Heathrow and therefore flying out that evening, but I was soon proved wrong. We got off the tube at Victoria, and then caught another train to Gatwick. Eventually, we arrived at Gatwick airport, where I finally found out we were staying in the Sofitel Hotel, at the airport. It was a very nice and expensive looking hotel, 4 stars, and I think Donna was involved with booking this hotel. It had a very impressive lobby, which I wish I had taken a photo of, but I was too tired to think of it at the time. The bed was also extremely soft and comfortable and we slept like logs until 7am in the morning!
