On Monday 10th Dec, our department had its Christmas party. We spent the afternoon at Wilton Bowling Club, attempting to play lawn bowls. There was food and drink and brilliant sunshine so all was well with the world.

On Wednesday it was my birthday. I was actually at work, but a few of us went out at lunchtime, and then in the evening, I went out with Graham and a couple, Pete and Claire. I actually work with Pete and he and Graham get on really well, as do me and Claire. We went for a meal at Lonestar, and I was being good and didn't have a dessert, but then they came out with a birthday pavlova, as Graham had told them it was my birthday. I made Claire help me eat it though! After the meal we went bowling and ended up playing pool for free as our bowling lane wasn't ready at the time we'd booked it.

I was spoiled rotten by Graham as my main present from him was a SLR camera, which I've been thinking of saving up for, but now I don't have to. Also got lots of little presents as well, and a big thank you to everyone who sent cards, birthday messages, and gifts.
