A few seconds after the plane stabilized itself over the mediterranean, the little princess closed her eyes in her little crib and we were left to do nothing only to look at the other parents holding tired but sleepless babies...
We landed in malpensa around 22:00 and then took the shuttle to our hotel, we got a very nice room but not a crib for aviv. We put her in the king size bed with a lot of pillows around her and fell a sleep in the children beds...it was fun to find her in the morning, such a tiny little creature in such a huge bed
After a very good night near malpensa we took a bus to Torino which will be our first destination! The ride went really well, as it took only two hours and aviv behaved perfectly!
We got to Torino and decided that instead of waiting for a cab, we would walk to the place where we are staying by foot. This was a nice way to get to know the city, but with two suitcases and a baby took us much longer than expected... We are staying here for two nights in a really nice apartment which we rented through airbnb - it is awesome! Great location and a great place, we are so happy we went with this choice instead of another hotel.... Once we got settled in it was already around 15 and we were really hungry. This is when we found out about eating times in torino - you see lunch is only served between 12-14:30 and dinner from 18:30 and in between everything is closed!!! What is this???? Starving we started wondering the city till we found a McDonald's which was so lucky for us! After we went to the cinema museum but there was a huge line so we decided to come back tomorrow and had a nice early dinner till aviv got tired and we went back and finished our day
Eat lunch early, or don't eat lunch at all
Diapers are more expensive in Italy than in Israel
Everyone immediately falls in love with aviv (we kinda knew that already)
