Well, we pulled out of Florence and made our way to Salem to attend our Pac Nats Rally. The drive today is about 137 miles. Easy drive up the Hwy 101 to Newport and then into the I-5 and up to Salem. Remember my comment about the RV wash well when we woke up it was raining and the forecast for the day was not much better. I still wanted to wash the coach but my trusty navigator convinced me that the heavy rain that we would be driving into would do the trick. When we arrived at the park in Salem I checked and she was right as usual. The drive was quite uneventful and we arrived at this RV resort which is located in West Salem about 1:30PM.

This rally is being held by the club we belong to called the Pac Nats (which stands for Pacific Northwest National RV Owners Club). The club members all have some type of a National Motor home RV product. At this rally we had 38 coaches and 76 members in attendance. The weather did cooperate somewhat and the rain stopped for the time we were there, however the temperature was on the cool side. We played in a golf tournament, did some exploring of the local area, had some wonderful dinners and enjoyed the camaraderie of our fellow members. It was nice to stop the daily travel and just relax. The park was nice and they had a great area for the dogs to be able to run off leash. This allowed a lot of ball playing time for Miss. Brigitte as well as some time for the two of them to "roughhouse". A lot of the members were going to attend another rally in Albany however this was not something for Pat and I as we had made previous plans to meet friends at Champoeg State Park.
After the four days of this rally we prepared to get moving onto our next destination which was going to be Mallard Creek RV and Golf resort. We were going to join some others from the rally  prior to meeting our friends at Champoeg.
We pulled out on Sunday around 12:30 on our way to Lebanon, Oregon.
