Today we are going from Torrey to Draper which is just south of Salt Lake City. We were going to travel on Hwy. 50 across Nevada but after having several conversations with people who have traveled this road we have decided to go on Hwy. 80 to Reno. The drive to Draper is about 170 miles and the country side is quite pretty but nothing like what we have seen over the past couple weeks. We are going to stay in a combination RV Park/Mobile home park. It was okay and it gave us a base to start in the morning. We had to replenish our groceries and were told to go to a shopping store called Harmons. This store has just opened and it was just fantastic. It did not help that we were going just before our dinner so I am sure our bill was larger than it should have been. They had selections of cheeses, fruits, fish, meat dishes, etc etc. One would never have to cook if you shopped here on a regular basis. So once our shopping cart was full back to Abby to unload. I spend some time tinkering on the coach and cleaning her up on the outside. We have cable vision and a multitude of channels to choose from so a quite evening at "home" before we tackle Nevada. At this time we are still debating whether we will do this trip across the desert in two or three stops. One thinks that weather may have some bearing on this decision. What we have decided is that we will be stopping in Elko for the night. This will be a drive of about 240 miles.
