I have fallen in love with another city! Our late night arrival gave me no impression of the city except that our room is tiny and the harbor view I paid extra for is a joke. Matt and I slept late and I finally ventured out mid-afternoon. Hong Kong is a vibrant, beautiful city. The views of the harbor are magnificent especially at night. We took the Star Ferry over to Hong Kong Island and
took the tram to Victoria Peak. Unfortunately the uppermost viewing area is being renovated and will not open until September.
Still, to see the lights and the tiny boats bobbing in the water was wonderful. We ate dinner at the Lookout Restaurant-finally, people who can cook again!! We splurged and I had a steak and Matt had lamb chops. It was a wonderful first night in Hong Kong
