I am now on the Nile in Luxor. It's much smaller here, more touristy. But the people here are used to it at least, and I feel more comfortable.  I can walk around here easily.. it's just a heat issue. Literally, as I type the sweat is dripping off!  Obviously it's critical to drink alot of water. I now lick my shoulder every so often (sound super weird I know) to see my salt levels, and if it's super salty I just drink another bottle. hah There are prolly better ways to do it but oh well.

-Random notes.. the men are terrible! I walked alone last night to take care of camera business, bad idea. I realized this once I was half way.  It's almost like a video game. There are Arab men along the streets, pretty much equally spaced, and as you approach they will start talking to you about Japan, feluccas, if you're married, where your husband is, and "good price". I can't believe some of the things they've said!  I don't say a word, I keep walking with my head and hat down and sunglasses on. They will leave you alone after like 10sec but then the next one is like 15 feet away.  It really is like dodging those chomping guys in pacman.
-ISIC card- the best idea yet. I've never needed it on other travels except now.. you need it everywhere!!
-Today I cruised the Nile and went to the Valley of the Kings, where King Tuts tomb resides along with King Ramses II, IV, and VI.  The latter tomb retained much of the original colors which was breathtaking to see. It's hard to imagine what these places looked like at their height.  My head is so crammed with information I won't get into it now. My new guide was great, he is a Pharmacist/tour guide and a very brilliant man. I enjoyed hearing what he had to say about ancient Egypt, along with how he feels about culture, politics, life and everything else.
