We went straight to the elephant camp first thing and rode through the jungle for about an hour, up and down hills. It was a bumpy, dodgy, lurchy ride - going up and down the hills was a bit scary as we tipped forward and backwards. At the steep hill, it felt like we were going to tip off. The elephants were truly immense, standing in front stroking his trunk made me feel like i could be flattened at any point. Our elephant was called Beejoh, he was the largest in the camp and was 26 years old. Elephants live for 60-90 years.

Later, we had fun bamboo rafting - there were 4 other rafts holding an entire Chinese family, 16 people, Luke lost his balance whilst splashing them and fell into the water. It was hysterical, my stomach muscles hurt from laughing. The water was quite shallow so he had time to jump back on.
