Well as you can tell from the title we are still in Hat Karon (Phuket). We meant to stay only 2 nights, however due to poor weather and a bout of food poisioning we stayed a couple more days. We are heading to Phuket Town today, we will catch a boat to Krabi via Koa Phi Phi tomorrow. We were going to stay in Phi Phi for a couple of nights but think its quiet spoilt after Hollywood trashed the place whilst filming The Beach.....
Hopefully Krabi will be pretty and we can go on from there to Koa Lanta or possibly over to Trang..... still undecided.... surprise surprise!!!
Weather has turned to sunshine, very warm and humid now, but the heavy rain has made everything lush and green. When we get to Krabi we are going to go to a wildlife park which is apparently best visited after the monsoon, lots of greenery, tropical flowers, monkeys, waterfalls etc.
We have entertained the guys at our guest house with our constant Backgammon (watch out Pete and Ali)... they taught us a new card game that neither of us really understand, but sounds like it could be quiet good fun. Keep getting harrased by "Jonny Armani" who has a tailors just outside our guesthouse... he is desperately trying to smarten Peeps up! We keep telling him we can't because we are leaving tomorrow, in the sincere belief that we are, but then here we still are.....
I got a bout of food poisioning over the last 24hrs after stupidly eating some street food, Peeps was fine and looked after me. Luckily we were staying in decent accomodation, with en-suite.... say no more!
Anyway.... hope you're all well, and winter isn't closing in too fast.

Not Winter Yet
Hi Guys - Hope the stomach bug has cleared up now Shelley. Careful how you go with the new diet! Have spent a few days at David's got home this afternoon ( Thursday 1st ). He is patiently waiting for paperwork but hopefully not too long now.He has a large bottle of Champers in the fridge ready for the celebrations.
Managed to look after
the dogs and do the garden inbetween throwing their toy, or should I say Charlies, Bailey runs, but doesn't catch. david has asked if we can try to find homes for them up here.
Dad painted David's downstairs loo, and started on the passage way.I've cleaned out all his cupboards, and David and I went into the loft Sunday, so had a full car load to the tip.
Good journey up today, although I don't know if there was a speed camera on the A1 before the M62 turn off, will soon find out.Dad went via the M1 all the way, I got back 15 minutes before him, a good test. Not if I get a speeding ticket though.
Dad now laughing at me.
Going to Bill's Sunday, seeing Solicitor Monday re Gran's estate, house sale did go through last Tuesday, Bill's e-mails weren't coming through to us. so we didn't know what was happening.
