Rothenburg 17th June

Absolutely gorgeous, and very quaint, medieval town. getting a bit touristy but the shopping is extra-ordinary. But as we know Europe is sooooo expensive, so must be restrained.

There was a dedicated Christmas Shop open all year, it is Germany's famous Kathe Wohlfahrt store. There are outlets in other towns but this one is the original.

Just wonderful, a delight for any Christmas lover, covered a few floors with turns and tunnels and corridors and paths all decorated in various colours and themes of Christmas. And there was another one across the road way. The Christmas pyramids were stunning and the hand painted ornaments, but too hard to get home, and sadly just toooo expensive
