On the road again, left beautiful Prague to travel to Hungary, travelling through 3 countries. Country side so green, they grow canola as fuel must be bio.mix. Fuel very expensive over $2.00 a litre, but I expect we are heading that way at home, time to buy a scooter for the shopping.
We stopped along the way in Moravia, don't you just love these old names. We had lunch in a winery, just lovely, down deep in the cool, cavern. Wine very nice too. Across the road, there were many fishing shacks, with men in the camp chairs lining the bank; I did see one fellow pull in a catch.
After a long day on the bus we arrived at our ship, the "MS Amalegro" and were finally able to unpack for 2 glorious weeks, how civilised
We are moored right in the centre of the two cities Buda and Pest. We have glass sliding doors out to the Danube, (It is not blue). Current flows very fast and lots of other boats glide by. All around are old historical buildings. The crew make you very welcome, at night our bed was turned down; my nightie was folded ready, chocolates on the pillow. How spoilt.
And the FOOD, oh my, I know why people recommend you to lose weight before your come away.
6-7am pastries Tea and Coffee etc
7-9am Breakfast
9-10am more pastries
12.30 Lunch
4-5pm Coffee and Cakes
6.15pm Cocktails
7pm Dinner
10.30pm supper
The food is beautiful. Thankfully the serves are not large, but each meal is at least 5 courses or huge buffet. The service is exceptional.. Wine, beer and soft drinks included with evening meal, and you have to be very careful, you glass level is never allowed to drop, giggle he he. On the sun deck after dinner to see the city lights, one lovely photo of the castle on the hill at night.
And so to sleep on our lovely "Houseboat" with our fluffy doonas and huge pillows, massaging shower that does your whole length of your body. This is going to be hard to take......

We finally caught up with our friends, we were worried when we couldn't contact them in Prague, but had they lost mobile phone and other problems, but at least we are now all on the ship together. We are moored right in the centre of the two cities Buda and Pest.
