Hey all! Sheila has gone to find some ice cream so I said while i was nosing through our messages i would do an old entry! We we spent the last few days on Ko Samui and it was fabulous, we were staying in the Utopia apartments. Nothing wrong with the place but the AC was a bit on the chilly side. Sheila woke at one stage during the night and saw me wrapped in a scarf, she presumed she was dreaming, she wasn't! I had a good sleep once i wrapped up!
Anyway we headed out here yesterday Ko tao and we are staying in the Freedom beach resort. Its a secluded resort with a private beach and we are like two lesbians up there on the cliff top cottage and freedom my arse you would need a helicoptor to find the nearest shop. The place is a dream and the views are amazing.
Anyway a helicoptor is a slight exaggeration we hired a scooter today to escape the couples and the weird bar dude
And Fiona Malone if I fell into that filthy river in Bangkok it would have been very disturbing! Can you imagine I would need immediate counselling, thats if i could swim to safety through the gunge! arrrggghhhh doesn't bear thinking about!
Anyway back to the story, we have our eye on another resort here on the beach front for Sunday and Monday night, at least to get back into civilisation. It has a swimming pool too. We are off on our first trip tomorrow on a big boat (their terminology not mine! its a long boat or a big boat!) snorkelling and touring around the Island and its from 8.30 to 4 so it should be fun. We will keep ye posted.

Brave sheila
! Sheila is our driver as I have never attempted to drive one of those yolks. We have had a couple of bumps and turns but nothing as funny as Sheila nearly driving herself into a trench, I nearly fell in after her laughing! Arms and legs but its great craic. We are real thrill seekers myself and the pilot you know! And Fiona Malone if I fell into that filthy river in Bangkok it would have been very disturbing!
