We first stopped at George and Wes' apartment. The first three pictures are of the view from there balcony. They live just slightly on the out skirts of town.
We were heading up to the mountain and passed a Temple along the way. There are some pictures of a decorative bridge right before the Temple area then some statues and buildings in the Temple area.
The mountain had stone wooded steps going up it. The entire trail was many kms so we did not climb the whole thing [maybe some day]. Then we stopped for lunch. Wes' friend Silvia ordered food for us. There was a bambo dish, egg dish, chicken dish and pork dish. The egg dish was called "One thousand year old egg". It looked pretty weird to be egg but it tasted good. Apparently the pork in Taiwan is among the cleanest in the world. The last shot is of how it's suppose to be eating, with the piece of pork, sliver of garlic and onion. It was very good.
