[Shannon] First few pictures is something Talitha and I saw one day. We were wandering through a parking lot, heard very loud thunder and a cloud basically burst over head. So we ran up the stairs and checked out the colourful building. We go inside, there's lots of people. By the time we get to the front of this very large room someone comes running up to us telling us we can't be there. Yep, definitely ran on into a temple during Ghost Month. There were many tables full of offerings to deceased family members. If we weren't going to pray we had to leave. We were tempted but thought better of it.
Next are a few pictures of downtown Chiayi at night.
Our scooter lessons! (Theresa was a pro at this point and didn't have to join us)
Carrefour adventures. Theresa and I went to the opening of one near our house. Then the three of us headed to "the big Carrefour" and caught a celebratory parade honouring the ending of Ghost Month. And the Pet Store, how we love thee!
Next comes the clothing night market, with it's crazy mannequins. 
Finally the food night market, where Theresa and Sam bought some good eats.
